This open plan warehouse apartment – and former car workshop – extends to around 1,500sq ft and occupies a significant portion of the ground floor in a building that stands in a quiet corner of East London and boasts a share of freehold. The apartment’s creative owner helped with the masterful makeover that provides a chic framework for the decadent interior.

Whitechapel Road (A11) may be a stone’s throw from the front of the building, but its accompanying noise isn't. In fact, it's wonderfully quiet. What it does mean, though, is that you're not far from public transport in any direction: Stepney Green tube (Hammersmith & City and District Lines) is literally around the corner, with the Overground at Whitechapel (and forthcoming Crossrail) not much further. Bethnal Green (Central Line) is approximately 10 minutes’ walk. 

There's a riot of things to do with your down time, from bars and restaurants the award winning Genesis cinema and boutique stores, plus a clutch of exciting coffee shops all close by, with our particular favourite being the Fugitive Motel on Cambridge Heath Road for its all day drinking and dining.
