We've been to every corner of the UK on our travels, over the years and seen some incredible spaces. To this day, things don't ever get boring, and it's houses like this Unique home, tucked away in quite possibly the prettiest enclave we've ever visited. Days like this make what we do, so special.

The pretty village of Cockington is located just outside Torquay.  Just 10 mins on foot to be more precise, not that you'd know it!  The Gothic styled Victorian house is planted on the edge of a 400 acre protected estate and is so quiet, you feel like you're on the edge of nowhere.

We've often said it's the owners of these unusual properties that give them a unique edge, this house is no exception. There is a documented passion for period architecture, within this place, detailing the owners' dedication to the genre. This was their final foray in unique ownership and they've painstakingly gifted the place it's special feel.

Once through the gated entrance, the sweeping gravel driveway is able to accommodate a generous number of cars, without detracting from the rest of the grounds.  All of which have been meticulously manicured. The entire garden is screened with trees, providing a wonderfully private environment. There's also a number of entertaining spaces, dotted around, perfect for house parties and gatherings in any weather.
