Chelsea Cottage, SW10, £3,750,000

  • The background

Putting in mildly, Chelsea Cottage, Fernshaw Road was something of a one off for the local area. A huge, former industrial building that had been converted by it’s owner many years ago. It had been on with a number of “blue chip”, local agents with no success. The owners felt a complete change of direction was needed, enter Unique Property Company….

  • What we did

A complete strip down of the standard approach to marketing was first on the list. We needed to show it’s unique style and potential. New photos and a mini marketing campaign directed at people who hadn’t considered this area, people who didn’t realise that warehouse space could be purchased in what was considered a very traditional area.

  • The results

Sale agreed just before the Christmas period and moved to exchange in just four weeks. Completion delayed to allow the, (very happy), owners to get packed up and shipped out.

  • We sold our property through Unique Property Company and were delighted with the results. Having previously engaged a mainstream agent, we found that the sort of people they had showing the property just didn’t have the vision and couldn’t get there heads around our unusual space just off the Kings Road.
We decided to seek an alternative route and Instructed Unique. They found a buyer within a relatively short period and successfully sold the property in a sensible time frame. Simon took calls at times that other agents wouldn’t, and kept in regular contact with us even though we were often out of the country in another time zone.
We’d have no hesitation is recommending Unique Property Company to anyone selling unusual property, especially if its the personal service that you require.
