19th December 1843, arguably, a day that marked the changes in the way we celebrate Christmas in England, the day that Charles Dickens released one of history’s most influential literary works, “A Christmas Carol”.
So, how are we marking this occasion? In true fashion—by flipping the script. We’re exploring Dickens’ world not through his words, but through the bricks and mortar of historic London. And we’ve enlisted a secret weapon for the tour: Stephen Bull, or as everyone calls him, “Tiny Steve.”
Stephen is the newest member of the Unique Property Company team, joining as in-house technical consultant, bringing with him detailed knowledge of listed historic London homes, his specialist subject with experience amassed over the last 35 years.
